The capiz parol

Made by hand. Made to last.

Every SmartParol starts as a traditional capiz parol, shaped by skilled artisans who have the craft in their hands. Thin, translucent capiz shell is selected for its natural lustre, then cut, fitted and set pane by pane into a brass-toned frame.

Because each shell is a little different in tone and texture, every star carries its own character. The modern parts, the LEDs and the connected controller, are built quietly inside, so the craftsmanship you see stays true to the parol Filipino families have hung for generations.

Light

Every LED, any colour.

Full-colour RGB light shows replace the single fixed glow of a typical parol.

Control

Your phone is the remote.

An iOS and Android app over Wi-Fi, with Bluetooth support planned.

Experience

Lights that move with music.

Music sync, timers and schedules turn a decoration into part of the celebration.

Light

Light that does more than glow.

Addressable full-colour LEDs let different parts of the star shine in different colours, so you get flowing, moving light shows behind the capiz instead of one fixed colour.

App

Your phone is the remote.

Pick colours and effects, adjust brightness and save your favourite looks from the SmartParol app on iOS or Android.

Effects and colour palettes

Saved looks, one tap away

Connects over Wi-Fi (Bluetooth support planned)

SmartParol app: colour wheel, brightness, effects, segments and presets

Time and sound

Set it. Schedule it. Sync it to music.

Have the lights come on when the evening starts, switch off when it ends, or let them dance to the music at your Noche Buena.

Timers and schedules
